Why we developed a modelling engine inside Excel

Every serious planning tool wants the same three things: move your model to their server, charge you five figures a year, and make you wait six months for a consultant to switch it on. The category is real and proven — but the person who wants that modelling depth without the price, the rollout, or the lock-in has had nowhere to go.

So we developed Axmo. Not another analysis tool — Excel already has Power Pivot for reading and slicing the data you have. Axmo is for the other job: building the forward model that produces the plan. Drivers and assumptions as first-class objects. Named dimensions and dataseries instead of cell addresses that break when someone inserts a row. And recurrence — the roll-forward where this period's balance is last period's close plus this period's flows, the thing that is circular-reference hell in raw Excel and impossible in Power Pivot, and the beating heart of every forecast.

It lives inside the spreadsheet you already use, and your model stays a file you own — emailable, versionable, yours forever even if we disappear. The free tier is the product, not a trial.
